Management Accountant

Location: Anywhere!

This role involves taking away the bookkeeping hassle from business owners by providing them with meaningful management information to help their business grow. The ideal candidate will understand that managing cash flow, ensuring strong financial controls, good financial management, efficiency, and productivity are vital to a successful business.

You will be focused on helping our clients grow, save time, work efficiently and understand their numbers.  You’ll be providing real-time, meaningful information to businesses to allow them to make decisions that result in profitable growth.

As we continue to grow, we have a vacancy for someone who has experience in bookkeeping and management accounts to join our growing Outsourcing Team. You’ll be a qualified accountant and love dealing with people, answering queries and providing business owners with meaningful management accounts, all completed remotely using the latest cloud-based technology.

Giving business owners access to real-time information. Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • Fully qualified accountant
  • In-depth general bookkeeping knowledge
  • Experience of checking and filing VAT returns
  • Experience of working in industry (beneficial)
  • A positive collaborative team working approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This will be essential as we are a remote, cloud-based company.
  • Passion to make a difference
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload

Location and working hours

  • The position is full-time, with flexible working around Magic Beans core hours of 10am-4pm. There is no fixed start or end time each day.
  • You’re able to work from anywhere. All you need is your laptop and the internet!
  • Whilst you have the freedom of remote working, we don’t want you to feel remote. Right from the start, you’ll feel connected to the amazing Magic Beans team through zoom calls and in-person catch-ups that will help you build the relationships and get the support you need to thrive in your role.

Bookkeepers

Location: Anywhere!

This role involves taking away the bookkeeping hassle from business owners and providing support to the senior members of the Magic Beans’ management team so they can provide meaningful management information to help businesses grow.

The ideal candidate will understand if the bookkeeping isn’t done accurately, and in a prescribed format, the Tax Man will be on the client’s back. If proper books and records aren’t maintained the business risks fines and penalties from the tax authorities.

Our service isn’t about saving tax though, it’s about helping our clients build a great business. This is why we go beyond simply entering data.

You will understand when done accurately and timely bookkeeping data provides critical financial information and key performance indicators. This information is critical to understand what is going right, and what is going wrong, in the business. Having the right data will help our clients make the best decisions for their business and build a more profitable and successful business.

As we continue to grow, we have a vacancy for experienced, eager bookkeepers to join our growing Outsourcing Team. You’ll love dealing with people, answering queries and providing business owners with meaningful management accounts, all completed remotely using the latest cloud-based technology.

Giving business owners access to real-time information. Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • In-depth bookkeeping experience
  • Experience of Processing Payroll would be advantageous, including processing Sick pay, Holiday pay, Maternity Pay, Paternity Pay, workplace pensions etc
  • Processing and scheduling of contractor invoice payments.
  • Experience of checking and filing VAT returns
  • Entering transactions in Xero from source documents from clients. Full Xero training will be provided
  • Checking bookkeeping transactions on Xero.
  • Experience of working in industry (beneficial)
  • A positive collaborative team working approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This will be essential as we are a remote, cloud-based company.
